The house above us in my parent’s neighborhood caught on fire last night. It burned from at least 3:30 (when a parole officer spotted the smoke on his or her way to work) to 7:00am and again from 9:00 to 10:00am. These pictures were taken at 6:05 and 9:30 this morning. The initial report said that no one was home. The structure of the house seems to be compromised and the contents destroyed. The fire crews left when they finished putting out the fire, but it started again and returned after a neighbor called 911. Both the first and second story are destroyed, and about half of the roof has collapsed.
Please pray for the family of the house, as they are out of town and will return home to this.
“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
